We are looking for a nanny for our two children (3 years old and 6 years old) to work Mon-Fri from 1.30pm until 7.30pm, with a possibility of more hours during school holidays and / or weekends. These hours might change slightly from September. The job is based in Central London. 

We are looking for an educator who is fun, energetic, patient and kind. Our children speak Russian but English is taking over because of the time they spend at school. Therefore, we are looking for a native speaker of Russian who will focus on improving our kids’ ability to speak Russian. The nanny will also need to help with school homework (in English), supervise playdates with English-speaking children, take kids to their after-school activities and come up with fun ways to engage the children (painting, drawing, lego, play-doh, board games, playground, reading, etc.) 

This role does not require any house cleaning or cooking, however the nanny will need to make sure that the house is tidy at the end of the day. The nanny will be supervising meal times, encouraging good table manners, teaching the kids to clean up after dinner and tidy up their toys. The nanny will also assist with bedtime routine. 

Role criteria:

— Fluent English, able to help with school homework in English
— Native speaker of Russian. Able and willing to work on improving our kids’ Russian through conversation, reading, games and other activities 
— Ability to command authority while being patient, kind and respectful
— Teaching degree or similar
— Creative and able to come up with fun activities and teach tangible skills
— Experience in a similar role looking after two or more children at the same time
— Excellent references
— Legal right to work in the UK
