Mechanical Site Manager FT

Responsibilities:

• Full control of supervisors, foreman and labour contractors

• Ensure the whole team are qualified and have the necessary training requirements to carry out their individual’s roles

• Reviewing project specifications and drawings

• Making sure that projects meet legal guidelines and works are carried out in compliance with building regulations and health and safety requirements

• Coordinate ‘’as-build’’ drawing issue process

• Evaluating project information, reviewing all documentation, and approving work programme

• Supporting the design project manager with audit and quality improvement reviews

• Mechanical consultant IRS preparation/review

• Coordination of the equipment technical submission process

• Coordination mechanical installation process on site

• Installation inspections

• Overlook the QA procedure

• Obtain and review commissioning and balancing reports and certificates

• Coordination of the handover of the development

• Inspect labelling and tagging process

• Equipment procurement

• Arranging and participating in technical progress and H&S meetings

• Liaise with statutory services providers

• Labour forecast / projection

• Preparation of the mechanical subcontractor packages/scope of work (if required)

• Liaise with Quantity surveyor

• Maintaining high quality of work and communication

Requirements:

• Experience within a Mechanical Manager role

• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages

• Valid CSCS Card

• SMSTS, Fire Marshall and First Aid qualifications preferred but not required

• Self-motivation

• Proactive approach

• Strong oral and written communication  — fluency in English is a must

• Conflict and resource management skills

• High level of diplomacy and customer focused
