Mechanical Site supervisor FT

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Managing on site team and third party sub-contractors ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards

• To allocate work/ people in accordance with the programme/ labourer forecast

• Providing an element of programme, safety and build ability advice on planned works

• Quality Assessment checks

• Adherence to all British Standards and Regulations

• Supervising and coordinating contractors

• Morning briefings with operatives

• Witness Tests & associated record keeping

• Undertake tool-box talks

• Responsible for daily site checks and workforce so that they work at optimum efficiency

• Allocate and control rota of staff and maintain records

• Order materials and services, maintain records control stock 

• Directly accountable for day to day matters (to site/block managers)

Requirements:

• Experience within a Mechanical Supervisor role

• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages

• Valid CSCS Card

• SMSTS, Fire Marshall and First Aid qualifications preferred but not required

• Self-motivation

• Proactive approach

• Strong oral and written communication  — fluency in English is a must

• Conflict and resource management skills

• High level of diplomacy and customer focused
